Well what can I say that hasn't been said already? This computer had a lot of mixed reviews. But for the price I was willing to take the risk. I am absolutely 100% satisfied with this laptop. I had zero problems out of the box. windows 10 updated flawlessly. updated the drivers from dell without any problems. I updated the graphics card with the latest and greatest drivers with no problems. installed norton anti virus with zero problems. The one thing that I did notice during the whole process of setting this laptop up was the amazing speed and responsiveness of the computer. While I am by no means a serious gamer or running any intense graphics programs i do need something that gets the job done now and this computer delivers. nothing worse that taking 2 hours to do something that really only should take 10 minutes like my old laptop.
Dell really put some thought into this rig. The screen is perfect, none of that edge bleeding I read about. The trackpad works great, no problems there. This computer feels solid to the touch. I added an extra 8 gigs of RAM just to future proof it and that went so easy. Just 1 screw and the back pops right off. Had to admire the twin cooling fans under the hood then just popped the Ram right in. Couldn't have been easier. The sound is good considering its a Laptop. It runs real quiet too with the SSD.
I am satisfied that I bought this at a great price and am happy I made the decision to get it. I have had it for a couple weeks now and everything is looking good. I run about 6 to seven programs at the same time along with multiple tabs on the browser and everything runs at an impressive speed. No waiting around for things to figure themselves out.
If I was able to do it all over I would purchase it again in a heartbeat. So that's a solid 5 stars up there. I haven't found the slightest thing wrong with this purchase and am extremely satisfied with its amazing speed and outstanding performance.

You get what you pay for, gtx 960m Can play most new games on low settings, And older games, or not gpu demanding games on High or even ultra. Screen flex is ok, not bad at all.
Brightness isnt that bright but the matte screen definitely helps as I had no issues playing with Sunlight coming through my windows.
Keyboard feels ok.
Backlight is a plus on keyboard
Upgradable ram and additional hdd slot
touch pad is eh, for web browsing its ok But trying to do actual work using it I wouldnt recommend, let alone gaming, but you should be using a mouse.
Does get warm, but nothing unbearable.
Battery is great as well.
Compare these specs to other computers with similar specs youre looking at paying at least an additional $150- $400 more from other brands.

If only it had a DisplayPort so you could connect an external 4k monitor at 60hz. Unfortunately it's 1.4HDMI interface limits 4k to 30Hz, which is only OK for video but not work or gaming or working. (The noticeable mouse lag will drive you crazy).
As far as the machine itself, it packs a lot of powerful hardware for the price. The plastic case is a bit flimsy feeling, but you can't expect a premium feel for this price. The hardware is what you're pay for and it's what you're getting. Great CPU, nice crisp display, upper mid range graphics card. Just grab another 8GB of memory for $30, and perhaps another SSD/HDD for more storage and you've got pretty much the same thing as a high end machine at half the price. Upgrading this machine is pure Joy. Just remove 1 screw and the SDD/RAM is easily accessible. You don't have to take half the machine apart just to put in some memory. Awesome.
I like that this machine is stylish without being childish. (opting out of crazy colors and over-the-top design) Yes, i'm a gamer. But i'm also an adult. I need a gaming/business hybrid and this computer hits that mark. I also like the keyboard. It's good for typing and keys are responsive. This is important when you're actually doing productive work (instead of just key mashing...you know who you are). The track-pad is OK if a little on the cheap side. I never use it anyway.
A DisplayPort instead of HDMI 1.4 would've made this machine perfect.
